Devesh Maharaj is a veteran attorney-at-law and the UNC’s candidate for Aranguez/St. Joseph.

He has over 20 years of legal experience in private practice and has been an active member of the UNC since 1991.

Maharaj built his career in law while also engaging in community service – notably organizing a food kitchen to feed the homeless in Port of Spain and nearby areas.

This long-standing dedication to social welfare reflects his compassionate approach to leadership.

Although a first-time general election contender, Maharaj brings decades of grassroots party involvement and legal expertise to his candidacy, aiming to provide diligent representation for the Aranguez/St. Joseph community.
